The "Alarm' series is about the present reality of every Ukrainian. No matter how far from the front line, the air raid alarm is a daily reminder of danger and interference in a personal space. It is loud, brazen, uncompromising.
The war keeps presenting new challenges to us, but we learn to live with an awareness of war. The main function of the object, in addition to its aesthetic value, is to be a warning sign about an air threat under martial law. The aggressive color and movement of the sculpture will serve as a signal to go to a shelter and to wait for the end of an air raid.
